Description

What you are buying: a blue-tinted monochrome art photograph printed on high quality archival photo paper. The prints are not matted, framed or bordered. If you would like me to print them with a white border for ease of framing, let me know. The story behind it: In November 2015, on my way home to L.A. back from a photo expedition in Death Valley, CA, I stopped at Alabama Hills, a series of rock formations near Lone Pine at the foot of the Sierra Nevada. Many movie western and TV shows have been shot there, from Hopalong Cassidy and Bonanza to the Lone Ranger and How The West Was Won. Its best known feature is the Mobius Arch, usually photographed with snowy peaks showing through the middle. This is another way of looking at it.
